Support MEC financially
You can help to financially support MEC through individual donations, your church missions program, and other programs listed below.
OurGV
Rewards
While shopping online, you donate for free! A portion of the money you spend when you shop online with many retailers through this link is donated back to MEC. If you are asked for a Mall ID number, use 19267.
MEC is not asking you to purchase anything extra. However, if you are already planning to make a purchase and you do it online, the merchants will donate for you as an extra incentive for you to shop with their online store. Entering the shopping mall through the MEC website generates a portion of the proceeds to be donated to MEC. Most of the stores will do this automatically and will send you an email confirmation. Some of the merchants may request that you forward the email confirmation with MEC’s number for MEC to receive credit. The specific details are on the website under “How to Use Mall.”
Click on “OURGV Rewards,” which will automatically re-direct you to the shopping mall. You can begin shopping.
Christian

Volunteer to Minister in a Jail
Share God’s love through church services, Bible studies, Christian movie nights, parenting classes, the Victory over Addictions curriculum, or individual spiritual counseling.
Ways to volunteer without actually going (in) to jail
- Material Donations
Donate office supplies, toner, paper or office equipment. - Overseer
There are times when the volunteers already serving in a jail would benefit from someone overseeing their group. - Pray for MEC and the Inmates
Jail ministry is dependent on the prayers of our supporters. In addition, if you have a heart for intercession and can commit at least one hour per month to prayer for the inmates, we can provide you a monthly prayer letter listing their requests. - Volunteer as an Office Assistant
We are frequently in need of help with bulk mailings; data entry; phone calling; help with producing a newsletter, Missions’ reports, or the monthly prayer letter; typing answers to emails; and various other projects. - Volunteer Donation Coordinator
Request donations of books and Christian materials from organizations and distribute them to the jail libraries, volunteers and inmates. Items such as conference tickets can also sometimes be donated. - Volunteer to serve as a Fundraising Coordinator
Help raise financial support for the ministry through special events, grant writing, or researching existing sources. - Volunteer Interviewer and Trainer
Take the volunteer applications through the approval process, which includes obtaining their references, orientation and ongoing training, as needed.
